How to create a Naviextras account and choose a username

1. Where you can create an account

On naviextras.com

You can create a user profile for your device model directly on:
https://www.naviextras.com

Brand‑specific Naviextras websites

Some device manufacturers have their own brand‑specific update sites.
Not all of these sites support account creation.

If registration is not available on your device manufacturer’s website, you can still create your account using the Toolbox version that is compatible with your device model.
You can download the correct Toolbox version from your device model’s Naviextras update page.

If you are unsure which Toolbox version applies to your device, please contact us and we will help.

 

2. Start the registration

  1. Go to com.
  2. Select Register from the dropdown menu at the top right.
  3. Choose your device from the list.
  4. Select Continue to proceed.

 

3. Fill in the registration details

You will be redirected to the Registration page.

Please complete all fields marked with a red asterisk, as these are required to create your account.

 

4. Select a unique username

When choosing your username:

  • Ensure it is unique
  • Avoid special characters
  • Remember that your username will be used to sign in (along with your password)

If the system displays:

  • “The Username is already taken”
    → please choose a different username
  • “Server error!”
    → retry after a moment or check your internet connection

 

5. Complete your registration

After filling in all required details:

  1. Select Create my account.
  2. Check your inbox for the confirmation email.
  3. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.

Your account will be active once you confirm your registration.

 

6. If you receive an error during registration

If the system indicates that your email address or username is already in use:

  • You may already have an account
  • Try the Forgot username or password option
  • Or choose a different username if the address is yours, but the username is taken

 

7. If you forget your username

You can always log in using your email address instead of your username.

For username recovery, use the Forgot username or password option on the Naviextras website or in the Toolbox.
