How to reinstall or restore the iGO Navigation application on my new phone

This article explains how to reinstall the iGO Navigation application on a new phone and how to restore previously purchased content. The steps differ for Android and iOS devices.

1. Important information before you start

  • You must sign in with the same account you used on your previous device.
  • Purchases cannot be transferred between Android and iOS.
    • Android purchases stay on Android.
    • iOS purchases stay on iOS.
  • Trial activation is required so the application can reload your previous purchases.

2. Reinstalling and restoring iGO Navigation on Android

2.1 Reinstall the application

  1. Open the Google Play Store.
  2. Sign in with the same Google account used on your old device.
  3. Go to My apps → All.
  4. Find iGO Navigation and download it again.

2.2 Activate the trial

  1. Open iGO Navigation.
  2. Go to the Shop section.
  3. Tap any 7‑day trial item.
  4. You do not need to download the item.
    Tapping it once activates the trial period automatically.

2.3 Restore previous purchases

  1. Open Shop → Purchased items.
  2. Tap the arrow in the bottom right corner.
  3. Select Restore purchases.
  4. The application will reload your previously purchased content.

3. Reinstalling and restoring iGO Navigation on iOS

3.1 Reinstall the application

  1. Open the App Store.
  2. Sign in with the same Apple ID used on your previous device.
  3. Go to Updates → Purchased → Not on this iPhone/iPad.
  4. Download iGO Navigation again.

3.2 Activate the trial

  1. Open iGO Navigation.
  2. Go to the Shop section.
  3. Select any 1‑day trial item.
  4. Tap FREE.
  5. You do not need to download the item.
    This step activates the trial automatically.

3.3 Restore previous purchases

  1. Open Shop → Purchased items.
  2. Tap the arrow in the bottom right corner.
  3. Select Restore purchases.
  4. Your previously purchased content will be restored.

4. Important reminder

  • Purchases are linked to your store account (Google or Apple).
  • Content cannot be transferred across operating systems.
  • Trial activation is needed for the system to refresh your entitlement list.
  • Make sure your internet connection is active during restoration.
